About Seraphim
Seraphim Penumbra is an Intersex, Transgender, Performance and Installation artist, and NYC Nightlife Luminary-in-exile. They have performed in NYC at the Roxy, Knitting Factory (in Jackie Factory's legendary Night of 1000 Stevies), Crobar, Cabaret Magique, Plaid, Luxx, ToyBox, BB King’s, BoysRoom, and Joe’s Pub.
While in New York they worked as a Production Assistant and Art Director for Kembra Pfahler, of the Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black.
Sera has received mention in Next Magazine, HX Magazine, Time Out, New York, and Paper Magazine.
